Arg! Even though I’m a planner and I enjoy to gangrene people with my lists for everything, I hate it when we’re not even done with something and people start pushing the next thing in. E.g. clothing collections.
Well, this time I’m OK with that, because for the past 3 years I’ve been mortified about that endless 80s fashion that just won’t hotfoot it.
Things will be fine, people. It seems we’re finally seeing some of that famous light-after-the-tunnel light: spring collections for 2009 are now coming out.
And they’re all I was missing: decent fabric that sticks to your body, crispy whites, shiny blues; fit cuts; dresses that flatter you, skirts that show some leg; sweaters that stop at your waist and light coats that actually cover something; no leggings, and no gladiator sandals… dreamy dreamy stuff.
Now, I’m not saying this is better or new or even different, but entre all that 80s madness, well, this is not so 80s. Finally.
So! We’re almost there, Agatha Ruiz De La Prada style :)
