Why is every new fashion collection still so 80s?
I’ve been going through upcoming goodies for Fall 2008 and either fashion squads think we’ve lost our eyes Pai Mei style, or it’s pretty much the same than the last 3 years. And the same as Fall 1982.
Are people not getting enough of hiding in layers and layers of old looking puffy clothes? We all make fun of the 80s outfits that our parents (or ourselves!) wore IN THE 80S… so what, are we supposed to laugh at ourselves again in 20 years and say “Gee, dudette, didn’t we learn anything… twice?!”
“Fashion forward”, non? Well, where the hell is it?
Yuck.
