Le cupcake

I had to share this just because there are no cupcakes in my kitchen right now and because I just came back from meeting with a photographer and I’m all inspired and happy.

These little cups of joy and guilt are from a cupcake bakery in Paris called Cupcakes & Co. and if I go to Paris this year, I’ll pretend I won’t try them because that would be too crazy, but I will go in and say that your photos are great and that your cupcakes look so good too; and all this in French :)

Then you could take some pictures (like we did), then walk to The Publican (like we did) then be kicked out (like we were) and then have a drink at a random place instead (like we happily did).

Wedding Revelations

Oh man, revelations Friday! I don’t know why it took me so long to figure it out (or to accept it) but here it is.

Bride, the secret to make a wedding happen is: freak out as much as possible.

Seriously. People will run all over to make sure your requests are being heard (and finished). You’ll receive emails and phone calls and kind words and confirmation numbers and you’ll cross items off your list faster than with a wedding planner.

Don’t be afraid of the B word. If you already tried talking and asking and begging and explaining, it’s ok to listen to your instincts. You might even get free dessert or something. After all, you are the bride, and this is all happening because you said yes of you.

Bright Bright Great Featured in Apartment Therapy Unplggd

Nice! I now made it to Apartment Therapy and talked about toys and pink walls and how amazing where I work is.

What I didn’t mention was that I love working in silence, that I hate it when work calls wake me up early, and that my desk is usually filled with post-its and papers because I’m such a pack rat and I love writing quirky phrases about food and designers and funniness and French-word-of-the-day and ideas to write funny posts that I never ever end up writing…. jejeje
